Basic Security Awareness Training

Basic Airside Security Training

As and from 1st April 2010, all persons applying for or renewing an Airside Airport Identification Card (AIC) must have successfully completed Module 1 Basic Security Awareness Training (BSAT).

Before an Airside AIC can be issued, the AIC Office will require proof that the applicant has successfully completed a Module 1 Training Course from an approved Aviation Security Trainer. A copy of the letter issued to approved signatories for AICs is attached for information.

Please see across a list of approved trainers available to deliver Module 1 training.

Also attached across are general questions and answers that may be of assistance to you when considering BSAT.
