This years winners of the IMDO Follow the Fleet Competition were announced in Galway on 30th June 2012 by Glenn Murphy, Director of the Irish Maritime Development Office.
The annual competition covers three categories focussing on maritime trade, safety & technology and Irish maritime heritage. Schoolchildren are encouraged to use their creativity to write imaginative and entertaining submissions in the hope that they will win the ultimate school prize for their class.
