The Minister for Transport Mr Noel Dempsey TD today (25 January 2010) announced the appointment of Ms. Lucy McCaffrey as a director and the new Chairperson of Dublin Port Company.
Speaking today Minister Dempsey said: ''I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. McCaffrey as Chairperson of the Dublin Port Company. She has a highly regarded track record at a senior level in business management in Ireland over many years. I know that she will bring exceptional skill and drive to her new role."
Lucy McCaffrey is the principal and founder of Latitude, a management consulting company. She has 25 years experience and previously worked with Synectics, an international innovation consultancy based in Boston.
A graduate of UCD, her early career was in secondary teaching and public service management. She has served as a member of the boards of The Project Arts Centre and Dublin Port Company.
