The Department of Transport would like to advise that a number of Lighted Special Mark Buoys will be established on or about 28th November 2009 to delineate swimming areas as per Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Beach Byelaws at Seapoint, Sandycove and Killiney Beaches.
The Lighted Special Mark Buoys have a two nautical mile solar, marine light, which flash every 5 seconds with a yellow light, and will remain in place for the foreseeable future.
