When the Government gave the Dublin Airport Authority the approval to proceed with the development of a second terminal at Dublin Airport in May 2005, it also agreed that recognised independent experts would verify the specification and cost of the project. Accordingly, following the normal procurement processes, the Department of Transport commissioned that study which was carried out by Boyd Creed Sweett in association with Parr Architects and Faber Maunsell. The study has been completed and is now being made available on the Department's website.
